Rana Imran

Real action. Real representation. Real results.

Hi, I’m Rana Muhammad Temoor Imran, a BSc (Hons) AI and Data Science student at Glasgow Caledonian University. I’m standing for Full‑Time Officer because students need support that’s visible, practical, and consistent from day one not promises that fade after elections. I won’t claim I can “fix everything”. I will deliver achievable wins, communicate clearly, and make sure every student feels heard, whether you’re home or international, commuting, working, caring, or balancing it all.

My priorities

1) Assessment and resit fairness
• Push for earlier resit scheduling and faster results where possible, so students can plan work, visas, and graduation.
• Make appeals, extensions, and academic processes easier to understand through clear, student‑friendly guidance.

2) Learning that fits real life
• Advocate for a better balance of online and on‑campus delivery, with timetabling that reduces unnecessary travel days.
• Introduce quick course check‑ins each term so recurring issues are flagged early and followed up.

3) Cost‑of‑living support you can use
• Work on practical discounts and essentials support (food, printing, commuting) and clearer hardship‑fund signposting.
• Push for better value, culturally inclusive campus food options with transparent feedback routes.

4) Facilities, communication, wellbeing and inclusion
• Improve cleanliness and maintenance (including toilets) with clearer reporting and follow‑up.
• Make help easier to find: simple “where to go” information for services and support.
• Improve visibility and access to wellbeing support, strengthen pathways for disabled students, and promote confident reporting of discrimination.

How I’ll work
• Monthly updates: what changed, what’s blocked, and why.
• Termly focus groups and pulse surveys to keep priorities student‑led.
• Open‑door sessions all year and strong collaboration with reps, societies, and staff.

Vote Rana — practical progress and reliable representation.
