GCU Students’ Association and Glasgow Caledonian University are looking for Undergraduate students to come forward to apply for the following  Department Reps roles for the 2018-19 academic year:

School Of Computing, Engineering & Built Environment

  • Applied Science Department Rep
  • Civil Engineering & Environmental Management Department Rep
  • Computing Department Rep
  • Construction & Surveying Department Rep
  • Cyber Security & Networks Department Rep
  • Mechanical Engineering Department Rep

 

Glasgow School For Business & Society

  • Economics & Law Department Rep
  • Fashion, Marketing, Tourism & Events Department Rep
  • Finance, Accounting & Risk Department Rep
  • Media & Journalism Department Rep
  • Social Sciences Department Rep

 

School Of Health & Life Sciences

  • Occupational Therapy, Human Nutrition & Dietetics Department Rep
  • Physiology & Paramedicine Department Rep
  • Podiatry Department Rep
  • Psychology Department Rep
  • Social Work Department Rep
  • Visual Sciences Department Rep

 

Department Reps exist to support the work of Class Representatives and build links between them, their wider School and the Students' Association. In their role, Department Reps  are expected to keep in touch with the Class Representatives in their department and produce a report for the Students' Association once per trimester.

 

Department Reps receive a payment of £150 in both Trimesters A & B in recognition of the additional responsibilities that they take on.
