If you love to eat but don't really know how to cook or want to learn ways to save money, then take part in our project!
What we've done so far
1) Asked YOUR views!
Between November 2015 and January 2016, we asked students to complete a short survey on what they do with their food waste. This is what they told us
2) Ran FREE interactive workshops
Between February and March 2016 we ran workshops showing students step-by-step how to cook easy meals that they could cook at home later!
3) Created Resouces for YOU to use
For those who missed out, we created how-to videos of the recipes covered in our workshops which live on the GCUStudents YouTube channel.
There's also the Love Food Save Money Cookbook with more recipes to choose from as well as our handy Food Waste Reduction Leaflet - both give you hints and tips on how to make your food last longer and save yourself money in the process!
4) Asked for YOUR feedback
Between April and June 2016, we asked students to complete a short survey on what they thought of the project. This is what they told us
