About the Advice Centre:

 

Opening Hours and how to contact the Advice Centre: 

 

Our usual opening hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. 

During these times you can contact us:

  • by phone on 0141 273 1650  (please leave a voicemail if we cannot answer and you would like a call back)
  • by dropping in to the Advice Centre on level 1 of the Students' Association Building on Glasgow campus to speak to an adviser face to face

You can also contact us at any time by completing the webform below with your details and a brief outline of your enquiry/issue.  

We aim to respond to your webforms and voicemails as soon as possible (during working hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm), however at busier times this could take up to 2 working days (excluding public holidays).

Glasgow Students' Nightline: for out-of-hours support and information

Glasgow Students' Nightline is a confidential telephone, text, and online listening and information service run by trained students volunteers for the students of Glasgow Caledonian, Strathclyde and Glasgow Universities.  Nightline is open from 7pm to 7am, Monday to Friday during term time.

Nightline is there for anyone that's having a tough time, needs a friendly ear to listen to whatever's on their mind, or who just needs the phone number for a local taxi company after a night out. 

You can contact Glasgow Students' Nightline for peer support and information by phone on 0141 334 9516 between 7pm and 7am or by anonymous online chat from 7pm-12am by visiting the website at www.glasgowstudentsnightline.com.

London  Nightline: out of hours support and information for GCU London Students 

London Nightline is an anonymous listening and information service run by students in London, for students in London.  All volunteers are students themselves, who have undergone extensive training and who understand that university life isn’t always plain sailing.

London Nightline is there for anyone that's having a tough time, needs a friendly ear to listen to whatever's on their mind, or who just needs the phone number for a local taxi company at 3am after a night out. London Nightline is the only service that offers both information and emotional support through the night via phone, instant messaging, or text messaging.
