Wellbeing Information

All of us have mental health, just as we all have physical health. There is a lot that you can do to stay mentally healthy – eating well, taking regular exercise, learning something new and having a good study-life balance can all help. However, we know that one in four of us will experience a mental health problem at some point in our lives.

These booklets aim to be useful to students who are experiencing difficulties with stress, low mood, panic attacks and who have sleep problems. Hopefully you will find the information useful however, it’s important if your problem is not going away or is getting worse you should contact your local GP.

You might also want to refer to the GCU Wellbeing Team's collection of self-help resources  or contact a member of the Wellbeing team  if you would like to talk to someone for support - including wellbeing advisers, disability adviser, counsellors, mental health advisers and first responders.
