Volunteering

The Students' Association offers a wide variety of volunteering opportunities and most require no previous experience as training and support are provided.

For more information please read our Volunteering: Opportunites Prospectus and Guide. It explains the roles on offer and how to get involved, as well as some case studies of students who have volunteered before.

Your volunteering experience is really important to the Students' Association, there is a Volunteer Agreement that outlines what you can expect from us and what we expect from you, and a Volunteer Policy that details all aspects of volunteering with us.

Through volunteering you will learn and develop skills that are relevant for graduates in any degree and students who volunteer with the Students' Association can participate in the Student Leaders Programme and gain recognition for their commitment and contribution.

If you have any queries and questions about volunteering, please use the relevant contacts in the handbook below or if you have a general question please email us: hello@GCUstudents.co.uk

All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.
This membership is free for current GCU students.
