Description
LGBT+ Liberation Network
The LGBT+ Liberation Network is here to give GCU LGBT+ students, staff, and their allies a place where they can have fun, meet new people and campaign on the issues that matter most.
LGBT+ Officer for 2024-25 is Lou Russell. You can contact Lou at lgbt@GCUStudents.co.uk.
If you would like to get involved, make sure you become an official member of the GCU LGBT+ Liberation Network. Join us on Saturday the 30th of November for a christmas market social in collaboration with UWS and Strathclyde LGBT+ Society. We will meet at St Enoch Square at 3pm for the markets and will head to Katies Bar after.
It's open for everyone to join - whether you identify as LGBT+ or not - we're all inclusive.

WEDNESDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER - GCU Speed Friending
You've started classes, and you're getting to know more people around the university, but there's only so much time to talk to so many people.
Come along to our speed friending event and make the most of your time, make new friends and see what (and who) is all out there.
Who knows your new bestie, your new soul mate, your new enemy, could be a 5-minute conversation away.
We'll be starting the evening with an open night for LGBT+ services to share what they have to offer to the community in Glasgow.

LGBT HISTORY MONTH - FEBRUARY 2018
The GCU LGBT+ Group had a very successful history month in which a number of events were held on campus.
We welcomed older members of the community in to chat about similarities and differences of being LGBT+ throughout the past few decades.
We hosted a drag workshop, where local drag queen Marie Juana shared her inspirations and looks with us.
We held GCU's first ever GLITTER BALL, hosted by queens Ru Jazzle and CJ Banks, which successfully raised a sum of money for LGBT Helpline Scotland.
