Welcome to the Ethnic Diverse Network.
The group is open to all students who self-define as belonging to an ethnic group (African, Arab, Asian, Latino, Chinese and Caribbean etc)
It's easy to join, as well as free! Just click the orange button above!
The Ethnic Diverse Network (EDN) is led by the EDN Officer - Zain Ul Abidin Qureshi
Every year we do different events and campaigns. From celebrating Black History Month in October with Show the Racism the Red Card campaign and Multicultural Night to organizing large trips which combine learning with adventure - such as the Largs Trip in October 2023 - which saw 35+ people from all backgrounds take part in games, activities, and hiking. Presentations were also given on cultural differences, and the unique way art and culture fuse.
You can also contact the officer (when in post) at EDN@GCUstudents.co.uk
