FREE and ACCREDITED Carbon Literacy Training for GCU students and staff.
Similar trainings are offered at NHS trusts, Local Governments, energy suppliers and the BBC. Being accredited as Carbon Literacy is fast becoming a sought-after skill in employment and promotions. Individuals seeking to gain Carbon Literacy accreditation can often incur significant costs. In our commitment to empowering students to take on the challenges of the climate emergency, we are offering this training free including the accreditation fee.
The sessions will take place on Friday 24 November and Friday 1 December from 1pm to 5pm and one must attend the full 8 hours of training and complete a small piece of coursework in order to receive accreditation.
Places are limited and only students who can attend the full programme will be allocated a space. In previous years, places were oversubscribed so don't delay in registering below. GCU Staff who would like to book the training, please email studentvoice@gcustudents.co.uk
