I'm the Vice President School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment (SCEBE). My role is about ensuring that GCU students have an outstanding student learning experience within SCEBE.

My Manifesto

I AM HERE TO SERVE GCU STUDENTS.

My name is WILFRED OBI, currently studying for masters’ degree in International construction project management in the School of Engineering and Built Environment of Glasgow Caledonian University.

I will commit myself to working for the betterment of my fellow students and our community.

My leadership will be guided by the following principles:

1. Inclusivity: I believe that every student of GCU has the right to be included and heard, regardless of their background, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. I will work to create a welcoming and supportive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes equality.

2. Advocacy: I am committed to advocating for the interests of my fellow students. I will work to ensure that students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed academically and personally. I will also speak out on issues that affect our community, such as social justice and environmental sustainability.

3. Engagement:  I believe that student involvement is essential to the success of our association. I will work to engage students in meaningful ways, such as by creating opportunities for student leadership and participation in campus activities.

4. Innovation:  I believe that innovation is essential to creating a dynamic and forward-thinking Students' Association. i will explore new ideas and approaches to student leadership and work to implement creative solutions to the challenges that we face.

Conclusion: I will be committed to working tirelessly to make our community a better place. Together, we can create a more inclusive, engaged, and innovative community.

Wilfred Obi, an uncommon servant ready to fight for the common interest of all students in the University for common good.
