Encouraging GCU Students and Bringing About Real Change
I'm running for office at GCU Glasgow because I think that every student should have a voice and be heard. By working together, we can create a community that embodies our common goals and values.
I will concentrate on the following priorities as your representative:
- Student Well-Being and Mental Health: Your physical and mental well-being are important. To make sure that every student at GCU feels safe, supported, and appreciated with personalised services catering to the specific individual needs of students, I will endeavour to increase resources and support networks with more emphasis on the Disabled and the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Academic Excellence: I'll work to expand access to tutoring programs, enhance study areas, and provide better learning materials. Our university experience revolves around education, and I want to make sure that everyone has access to it.
- Sustainability: The condition of our earth determines our future. I'm determined to make GCU a pioneer in environmental responsibility by promoting greener campus policies, such as waste reduction and on-campus sustainability campaigns.
- Inclusivity: I will endeavour to establish a welcoming atmosphere for all members of GCU's diverse community, irrespective of their identity, background, or beliefs.
- Affordability: Being a student can be costly. I'll advocate for more cost-effective alternatives, such as programs that reduce the total cost of living for students –reduce on campus prices for students.
- Student Life: Every student deserves a university experience that is filled with fun and excitement – push for on campus student life campaigns in collaboration with student life experience marketing houses.
By working together, we can transform GCU into a place where each student is empowered to reach their potential. Let's build a campus in which we can all take pride. Vote for a University that serves everyone.
