I am Rosidah Ningrum, an Indonesian studying International Business Management.

 

As a candidate, I bring strong leadership background, having served as the Vice President of AIESEC, the biggest International Youth organization in the world. I am also founder of NGO & Education Startup to support Indonesian students to pursue their higher education.

 

As a recipient of Postgraduate Ambassador Scholarship from GCU and member of the UniBuddy team, I collaborate with GCU officers to enhance overall educational experience for every student, providing me with a deep understanding of GCU's student body's needs.

 

As President, I will champion:

Students' Welfare & Inclusivity

1. Advocating Daily Halal Food Canteen to ensure Muslim students can get the food aligns with halal standards.
2. I will propose free coffee and snacks in the library after 7 PM for students dedicated to late-night studies.
3. Propose a platform for students with business ideas to showcase products, creating valuable opportunities through public and local business engagement.
4. Support Students Clubs & Societies Growth. Student representatives will freely discuss ideas, ensuring program expansion, and empowering initiatives.
5. Secure more funding to reduce students' financial burden
6. Ensuring your voice is heard. Organizing Anonymous Feedback Boxes for students to share ideas, comments, and feedback.
7. Promoting Student Accommodation Viewing, rely on GCU reps to visit your house for safe, scam-free transitions in Glasgow accommodation

 

Academic Support:

1. Lobbying the university for an Elective Final Project, allows all students to choose between research or work-placement.

 

Wellbeing & Mental Health:

1. Advocating for Universal Mental Health Program, fostering self-support and valuing shared experiences with friends as valuable as professional well-being services.
