In response to the ongoing cost of living crisis and the impact this is having on all students finances the Students' Association have set up a Student Pantry that is open to all current GCU students to access by booking a free ticket for sessions on a Monday Wednesday and Friday 4pm-6pm . 

By booking a ticket you can access 10 items of free long life foods to supplement your usual food shop (items like tinned tomatoes, baked beans, instant noodles, pasta, porridge oats, rice, custard or rice pudding).  Any GCU student can book a ticket once every 2 weeks for the rest of this term (subject to availability) so please make use of this new service.  Go to Student Pantry page for more info and to book a ticket.

In the same area as the Student Pantry on level 0 of the Students' Associaton Building there are also 2 new Student Microwaves for open access use along with a near-boiling hot water tap and tables and chairs so you can save more money by bring in food to heat from home. There are also vending machines and a cold water cooler as well as a study lab on this floor.  

All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.
This membership is free for current GCU students.
