The Alex Goodman Fund is a resource to help support the personal development of students that are active volunteer coaches, instructors, referees or activity co-ordinators in a GCU Sports Club.  The funding is available to supplement the cost of training courses and qualifications and other personal development expenses.

Any GCU student who makes a voluntary contribution to a Sports Club is eligible to apply. All applicants must be a matriculated student and a paid Sports Club member.

Students can apply as many times as they want in an academic year but are limited to a maximum of £150 each year.

The funding is allocated by the Sports Council and they take into account the applicant’s year of study, the level of experience and previous commitment or contribution.
