Welcome Candidates!

Election Rules and attending the Candidates Briefing

The Election Rules set out the parameters of the election and what you can and cannot do. They are really important to know!

The Candidates' Briefing will be an opportunity to hear straight from the Deputy Returning Officer (the person who organises the election and enforces the rules) what the rules are and what they mean in practice. It is really important that candidates attend!

This year, the briefing will be delivered hybrid with all candidates given the opportunity to attend in person. Candidates who cannot be there in person, as well as campaign managers and teams, may tune in to to the live session remotely via MSTeams.

The Candidates Briefing will take place on Friday 27th October 2023, 12noon - MS Teams.

All candidates should make every effort to attend as this is where the rules and timeline of the election are covered.
