Welcome Candidates!

Election Rules and attending the Candidates Briefing

The Election Rules set out the parameters of the election and what you can and cannot do. They are really important to know!

The Candidates' Briefing will be an opportunity to hear straight from the Deputy Returning Officer (the person who organises the election and enforces the rules) what the rules are and what they mean in practice. It is really important that candidates attend!

This year, the briefing will be delivered online via MS Teams.

The Candidates Briefing will take place on Friday 11th October 2024, 12noon - MS Teams.

All candidates or their designated nominee must attend the Candidate’s Briefings (Full Time Officers and GCU London Officer elections only) and any further meetings called by the Returning or Deputy Returning Officer. Failure to attend or send a nominee to the Candidate’s Briefing will result in disqualification from the election.
