Every year one student is paid to work part-time (currently £450) to lead the London GCU Students’ Association, voicing the opinions of London students to the university.

What do I need to do?

Any registered GCU student, including an international student, is eligible to stand to be the London Representative. That means if you are currently a registered student studying at GCU then you can do it. yourself

Nominating yourself

The easy bit. Just download the form below from our website and email it in to us at

You can also take a printed copy to the Students’ Association officer, room 2.2

Getting elected

Voting takes place from 10am on Monday 21st October 2019 to 2pm on Thursday 24th 2019. To be successful you’ll need to convince people you’re the best person for the job. That might sound daunting, but there’s plenty of support on offer to you.

We’ll be putting campaign advice online to help you start planning, and all candidates will be invited to attend a Candidates’ Briefing session as well as optional campaign training sessions. You will also get £10 from us to fund your campaign. Check out our candidate resources to find out more about campaining, if you have any questions sppak to the Students' Assocation Coordinator in room 2.2.
