Every year one student is paid to work part-time (currently £450) to lead the London GCU Students’ Association, voicing the opinions of London students to the university.

What do I need to do?

Any registered GCU student, including an international student, is eligible to stand to be the London Representative. That means if you are currently a registered student studying at GCU then you can do it. yourself

Getting elected

Voting takes place from 10am on Monday 2nd November 10 AM to 2PM on Thursday 5th 2020. To be successful you’ll need to convince people you’re the best person for the job. That might sound daunting, but there’s plenty of support on offer to you.

We’ll be putting campaign advice online to help you start planning, and all candidates will be invited to attend a Candidates’ Briefing session as well as optional campaign training sessions. You will also get £10 from us to fund your campaign.

Drop in Sessions: Monday 5th, 12th and 19th Oct 12 pm

Nominations close: Friday 23rd Oct 12 Noon

Candidates Briefing/Training:  Monday 26th Oct 10 am

Candidates Filming (for official videos): Tuesday 27th Oct 10 AM
