Financial Information

The Students' Association receives most of its income from the university through a Block Grant. We also make some additional income through fundraising, sponsorship and selling products. Each quarter we revised our budget. Below is our projected income at the start of the financial year.

Income: Base Budget 2018/19

At the start of the financial year we hope to make £737,888 in 2018/19. This is split as 85% from Glasgow Caledonian University through a Block Grant and 15% through Other Income. All income from the Sports Ball is spent on the Sports Ball.

The Students' Association spends most of the money it annually receives either directly or indirectly on enhancing the student experience at GCU. We also try to annually put some funds into our reserves, in line with good financial planning.

You can see our previous annual income, expenditure and reserves in our annually audited accounts.
