Access to Microwaves and Kettles in student common areas.

This Idea was discussed at STudent Voice on 24th October 2022 and was amended for hot water taps to be made freely available to students and microwaves to be made available through catering staff.
I spend many hours in the university and library. In the coming months going into winter I will be bringing in home cooked
meals to help keep costs down in response to the cost of living crisis that is currently happening. I would like to request that there
be a place in the University were students can re-heat or have access to hot water to be able to bring in their own food and drinks.
All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.
This membership is free for current GCU students.

Totally agree - this issue seems to have been raised a few times on this forum and nothing has been fed back about it? It would be good for there to be some transparency on whether this is being considered or reasons it has not been implemented yet
