Welcome to GCU Sign Language Society

The objectives of the society are as follows:

• To increase the number of GCU students learning BSL, particularly in healthcare-related degree programs
• To engage with BSL users from the wider community and learn from their lived experience
• To maintain an open and inclusive environment within the society and help to make the wider GCU environment more accessible and inclusive for BSL users
• To promote and facilitate other GCU societies learning and using BSL

We are a new society starting up in the University term 2021-22
