Aim:

To respond to the rapidly growing space industry within the UK by raising awareness of the opportunities and developing the next generation of workers to match the industry’s demand.

Objectives:

  • To inspire students and the general public by highlighting the vital role of the industry and the various opportunities it presents.
  • To provide a multidisciplinary platform where students can develop practical engineering, business, marketing, financial and communicational skills.
  • To create a vibrant society of like-minded individuals, offering opportunities to connect and collaborate.
  • To strengthen the relationship between the university and the aerospace industry, creating pathways for internships and career opportunities.
  • To integrate the society goals with student research, enabling members to work on projects that contribute to research and development within the aerospace sector.
  • Compete in international competitions such as Mach, fostering an innovative and creative environment with a competitive edge.
