GCU Emergency Care Society is a course based society with the main objective of enhancing and developing the knowledge of its members in emergency and pre hospital care.

We run a mixture of events covering a wide range of topics, so there is something for everyone. Some of these events include…..

• Clinical skill practice sessions
• Specialist guest speakers
• Mock OSCE sessions
• Day trips to emergency and medical facilities
• Non-technical and team building exercises
• Social events
• SAS practice fitness tests

This year we will also be running a monthly prize giveaway! Every month from October to April we will have a draw to give away three prizes. This draw is completly free for members and everyone is automatically enrolled as soon as you join. There will be one main prize and two smaller prizes every month, with examples of the main prize being Leatherman Razor Shears, Kit Bags, Gift cards etc. 

Membership is £10 for the year and is open to all GCU students and staff.
