Description

Best new Society and Society of the Year, over 8 years running GCUs Ethical Hacking Society is not to be missed. All new and existing members receive support and guidance in the field of Cyber Security.
Our society aims to go above and beyond what we learn at University exploring exciting new technologies and innovations.
Become a member of our society regardless of what course you are currently studying, No prior hacking knowledge is needed and there are no mandatory duties! Our discord server welcomes non-members and helps you connect with other students from various UK universities. We are here to support you throughout your education.

Why not join a society with like minded individuals where you can make new friends and gain work transferable skills. With the current situation concerning Covid-19, most activities will be online based and for the first semester we will work on the following:

Hack the Box, TryHackMe, ImmersiveLabs, OverTheWire Wargames and VulnHub.
Webinars and Workshops.
Virtual events such as TedX, Hackathons, Capture The Flag events and much more.

Want to be more than just a member? At the end of each academic year we have an annual general meeting where positions might be available within the Society.
You could become our new treasurer or even President.

We invite you to Join this Group!
