Hello, World!
Welcome to the Glasgow Caledonian Computing Society, a community for students, innovators, and tech enthusiasts who want to build skills, meet industry professionals, and enjoy technology. Whether you study Computing, Software, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or are simply curious about tech, there’s a place here for you, no experience required, just an interest in how technology shapes our future.
Our society is more than just coding, it’s about learning, sharing, and creating together. Across the year, we run:
Practical tech workshops where you get hands-on experience and sharpen real-world programming skills.
AI ethics and society sessions on responsible, ethical AI and its impact on people and jobs.
Socials, Kahoot quiz nights, and gaming-style events so you can relax, compete, and meet new people.
Regular outreach with large local tech companies, giving members access to employer talks, networking, and insights into placements and graduate roles.
Joining the society is completely free.
Click the "Join this Group" button at the top of the page to become a member. Once joined, you’ll have full access to all events, workshops, and socials throughout the year.
Questions or ideas are welcome.
