GCU Computing Society

Hello, World!

Welcome to the Glasgow Caledonian Computing Society, a community for students, innovators, and tech enthusiasts who share a passion for computing, programming, and all things digital.

Whether studying Computing, Software, Data Science, or simply curious about technology, there’s a place here. No experience required just an interest in exploring how technology shapes our future.

What We Do

Our society is more than just coding, it’s about learning, sharing, and creating. Across the year, we are looking to run a range of events including:

  • Practical Tech Workshops — hands-on sessions to sharpen programming and computing skills.

  • AI Ethics and Society Workshops — discussions and practical sessions on responsible and ethical AI use.

  • Socials and Networking Events — meet like-minded peers, exchange ideas, and build connections.

Membership

Joining the society is completely free.
Click the "Join this Group" button at the top of the page to become a member. Once joined, you’ll have full access to all events, workshops, and socials throughout the year.
