Description

The objectives of the Society shall be:

  1. Respond to Emergencies: The British Red Cross aims to provide immediate assistance to people affected by emergencies and disasters. This includes providing first aid, emergency response, and disaster relief both in the UK and overseas.
  2. Support Vulnerable People: The organisation aims to support people who are vulnerable due to factors such as age, illness, or displacement. This includes providing health and social care services, supporting refugees and asylum seekers, and helping people reconnect with family members.
  3. Promote Humanitarian Values: The British Red Cross aims to promote humanitarian values and principles. This includes advocating for the rights of people in crisis, promoting tolerance and understanding, and working to prevent and reduce the impacts of conflict and violence.
  4. Provide Education and Training: The organisation aims to provide education and training to individuals and communities. This includes providing first aid training, teaching people about the risks of disasters and emergencies, and providing resources and support for schools and educators.
