GCU ATHLETICS CLUB 

The Athletics club at GCU offers something for everyone. We strive to be an inclusive club and will never turn anyone away no matter your ability, from those looking to start out their athletics journey to seasoned athletes. You are free to come and go as you please, with no obligation to attend every training session or event.

Our first two weeks of sessions are completely free, allowing you to decide if you wish to return or not- if you’d like to return then membership MUST be purchased for insurance purposes. We hold multiple sessions a week so that everyone has the opportunity to try something new - you never know, you might have a hidden talent!

If you're willing to take part in competitions, we compete all over the UK, throughout the entire year. We compete in events run by Scottish Athletics, Scottish University Athletics and British University Athletics, which range from London to the Isle of Man. 

We pride ourselves on our socials at GCU Athletics. Our Social Captains are always on hand planning the next event, which can range from our Freshers Pub Golf to our yearly Halloween Sub Crawl, there's always something for everyone!

Our membership this year costs just £10, which we feel is great value for money as it includes all of our sessions for free, alongside other benefits throughout the year.
