Transgender Awareness Week

Tuesday 14-11-2023 - 14:58

Transgender students face unique challenges in Universities that often go unnoticed. As members of the student community, it is our responsibility to ensure that all students feel welcome and supported. That is why we are highlighting our support for trans students at GCU.

We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to pursue their education without fear of discrimination or harassment. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for trans students, and we will work to ensure that they have access to the resources and support they need.

Trans students should be able to use the facilities that match their gender identity, participate in sports teams and organizations, and be addressed by their preferred name and pronouns. We will continue to advocate for policies and practices that promote equality and inclusion for all students.

Join us in supporting trans students at GCU. Together, we can create a more welcoming and inclusive campus community.
