At GCU we understand that education should be as accessible as possible, which is why during March and April 2018 GCU Students' Association and Glasgow Caledonian University came together in a sector leading pilot to offer free sanitary products to students at the Glasgow Campus.

Following recommendations from the Scottish Government, alongside uptake of the pilot, GCU have now committed to having Sanitary Products available at both the Glasgow and London Campuses from August 2018 for all students. 

To ensure this project fits the needs of the student population at GCU – we’ve constructed a survey; which in tandem with the data produced from the pilot, will influence which methodologies are used, how promotions are shaped, and how the service is made available moving forward to allow students to engage with the service.
