Post Study-work visa Campaign

Tuesday 08-01-2019 - 10:55

I must say a big thank-you to the Post -Study-Visa-Now committee Manish Khatri (NUS Scotland International Officer), Titi Farukuoye (NUS Black student officer), Franklin Jacob (Vice President Societies and Citizenship - SAUWS) and Elena Semple (NUS Scotland Vice President-Communities) for the opportunity to sit on the Post-Study Visa panel.

On 17th November 2018, we discussed about how the UK Government can better support international students. The event took place on the University of Edinburgh campus and was graced by politicians, Sir Geoff and student union members.  It was also lovely talking about BREXIT and it impacts on the economy and higher education. There is always a saying that a life of impact is worth living. I am happy to be a support and strong voice for international students.

“If you want to make a change, start from the foundation, start from your local community”. It is time for both home and international students to work collaboratively, to support one another, because there is power in diversity and unity. To get more information about this campaign.
