As members of the National Union Of Students (NUS), GCU Students' Association has four open delegate spots that are up for grabs. Who should these spots go to? YOU DECIDE!

The role of a delegate attending NUS UK Conference is to attend all sessions of conference, participate in debates on matters affecting students across the UK and to vote to elect various positions within NUS. Delegates are representing the whole student body when they attend these events and should support or vote against policies in line with Students' Association policy. Delegates also have the opportunity to submit policies to NUS and to stand in NUS elections.

Voting opens 19th November 2018 at 9am and closes on Thursday 22nd November at 2pm. www.GCUstudents.co.uk/vote.

Eilidh Fulton

Hi,

My name is Eilidh Fulton and I am currently the Vice President for the School of Computing, Engineering, and Built Environment here at GCU Students' Association.

I would like to be nominated to be one of the NUS delagates to go to conferance as I am passionate about student experience and student representation. As an NUS delegate I would be able to represent students through voting on policy, NUS representation, and NUS officer reports.

I have experience of going to an NUS conferance before and I feel I am well suited to represent students interests nationally. I will fight for a better student experience for all.

Monisa Hussain

Hi! my name is Monisa and I am running to be your NUS delegate to represent you at the national conference!

Vote for me as your No.1 NUS delegate and I promise to work on having increased opportunities for all students across campus, helping them with employability or experience.

Also, I will speak on behalf of all students of all races and cultures, increasing diversity on campus to better our university experience. This will hopefully include amenities for people that were not available before in terms of extra curricular activities or in relation to the food being served on our university campus.

Lastly, I as your NUS delegate would use my position to tackle hate towards all diverse backgrounds as it is a major issue we all suffer from in this day in age.

Help me to help you by voting for Monisa Hussain as your #1 NUS delegate from Monday the 19th of November!
