We’d like to announce and give a very warm welcome to our new London Officer for 2026-27… Casimir Chianumba!

Congratulations Casimir!

We’re very much looking forward to working with Casimir and seeing what he achieves during his year in post, and seeing how he can support and represent students on the GCU London campus!

Thank you to our candidates who ran in the elections, you both worked very hard and gained some incredibly valuable skills along the way.

We had a voting turnout of 65% which is incredible, so thank you to everyone who voted! It is your action that drives change for your university experience.

Keep an eye out for updates on Casimir's work as he progresses his three manifesto aims: student centeredness, transparency, and inclusivity.

We also encourage you to engage with Casimir and student voice throughout the year, and you can do this by becoming a Class Rep (speak to your lecturers). This will enable you make change and enhance your experience by working in collaboration with the university.

You can also submit an idea for change at our website here: www.gcustudents.co.uk/thestudentvoice
