The Full Time Officer team support our students who have been impacted by the escalation of aggression on Iran.
We know that some of our students and staff have been directly impacted by current events in Iran and the Middle East, others will be indirectly impacted by the news coverage and images. Remember it is okay to turn off the news and take a break.
We are proud that our campus is international, with students from all around the world studying here. We don't have to have personal connections to care about unrest wherever it occurs, and for those who are directly impacted, the Students' Association continues to call for peace, an end to violence and the tragic loss of human life. We want to emphasise our support to our students who have been affected, especially those from the Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
There is support available for all students affected by this conflict or who have experienced conflict anywhere in the world. You can contact our Advice Centre in the Students’ Association or Wellbeing Services within the University. If you feel your studies are being affected, you can contact your Academic School and/or Personal Tutors for the right support to you.
