Disability History Month

Wednesday 10-03-2021 - 14:40

In our routine discussions, our Disabled Students’ Officer, Amanda Kerr, raised the upcoming Disability History Month and how the Students’ Association should ensure to do something for our students with disability at the University. Taking this forward to the University, we asked the University if they could change the color of the University lights to purple. The University was very cooperative and on 9th of December 2020, the Britannia Building’s lights were turned purple for not just our disabled students but in respect of all people with disabilities.

The color of the Britannia Building is still purple to this day.

Adil Rahoo,
Vice President Glasgow School of Business and Society.
