I am steadfast in my mission to ensure all students have a great time at university. With over 10 years of demonstrable experience working in the education sector with young people, schools and not-for-profit organisations, my core strengths are in programme management, work placement coordination, communications, student support, teaching and facilitation. I have first-hand experience working with a range of learners, from school children to adults, to ESOL pupils.
Within higher education, I have worked at King's College London since 2019 and have held a variety of roles. Currently, I am Student Outcomes Manager – a role which exists to design and evaluate co-curricular leadership development programmes for underrepresented students to enhance the student experience, improve graduate outcomes and close degree awarding gaps.
I have worked with applicants, offer holders, undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctoral candidates and alumni. I have specific knowledge of the experiences of minority groups and residential students as well.
I am confident, resourceful and relational and aim to leverage all my learnings, my lived experience and my growing sector knowledge to contribute to the decisions of the Trustee Board at GCU Students' Association.
All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.
This membership is free for current GCU students.
