Have the parking validation moved back to Saltire Centre

i believe the parking validation machine should be made more accessible being in the saltire centre again instead of campus security. At peak times this machine is used regularly and makes it difficult having to queue in a small area. Having it on the ground floor of the saltire would make much more sense as unlike the security desk it is always manned for assistance.
All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.

Hi Cameron. I agree with this too because when I drive in and want to get home it can take a while to get sorted. However, there is also a car parking validation machine at the reception in the Govan Mbeki building which I have started using on my way out as there is usually less of a queue, and the car parking validation machine in the Security Office is meant to be getting moved back into the Saltire Centre. I'm going to find out exactly when this is going to be moved back into the Saltire Centre because it is so much more convenient, but if it is going to take a while then I'm going to ask if there can be signage put up for students to find it more easily - the Security Office can be difficult to find if you don't know where it is!
P.s. I'll let you know when the car parking validation machine is going back into the Saltire Centre when they get back to me :)
Hi everyone! Just as an update, I have requested about information on this, and the car parking validation machine will be getting moved back to the Saltire Centre. However, the date for this hasn't yet been confirmed. I will keep you updated on what happens with this.
Any more news on getting it moved?
