As we move towards a more digital age, more and more people are now utilising digital services to securely store their personal information. Physical means such as cards can get lost or stolen, therefore having the convenience of storing your information securely via an app makes it easy for students to utilise their ID through their phone. I propose using a service such as Apple Wallet, Yoti or any viable app/service which would allow students to keep a digital copy of their ID on their device. This would make it easy to get around campus or simply access their ID through their phone to use student discounts. It's an efficient and secure way to ensure students have ownership over their personal data. This would  enable a more future-ready community of students that's confident in sharing and storing their data by safe means.

As a wheelchair user this would be really useful, as I don't have hands free when i am self propelling.

Honestly, this actually makes complete sense. Either change completely to digital or give the option of both.
