We are all different and that's what makes us unique.
We look different, sound different and think differently from eachother due to our past experiences and environment.
So why are our study spaces all the same?
Some people (me 🖐️) like to lie on the floor to study, some people sit cross legged others love bean bags or a couch.
We have 5 levels of library space and every space is based around levels of silence or group study rather than personal comfortable study style.
I would like to see a space for people to study with different seating arrangements spaces for throwing the books on the floor or chilling on a bean bag with your books.
A space where people can go and feel comfortable studying the way they want to study.

If you want to throw your books on the floor, go home and do it! There are plenty of comfortable spaces on campus for lying around. I don't want to navigate people lying on the floor when I visit the library.
Thank's for your feedback Charlie, Much appriciated.
The social learning space in Level 0 of the library might be of interest for you!
Of the Student's Association, NOT library! Sorry.
No i completely agree, i don’t think we need 4 floors with silent study space, it’s not necessary in my opinion. less would be better and replaced with your idea.
A significant number of the students in the library are on their phones procrastinating or talking to pals. The place is also increasingly becoming a social club for people who are not students at all. It isn't a good idea to encourage more of this by making it look more like a living room and less like a place to study effectively

I would like a place where I could take off my shoes and curl up or lie on my stomach to work.
