GCU Taekwon-Do is a well established club practising ITF style Taekwon-do.
Translating to the Art of Hand and Foot; Taekwon-Do is all about using body mechanics to move with speed and power while attacking/hitting a target or during a self defense scenario.
The main aspects of Taekwon-Do are sparring, patterns, power breaking and special techniques. We also aim to improve technique, flexibility, fitness and self-control.
We are affiliated with the United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Association, attending regular events such as seminars, gradings and national competitions (usually coming out with much success too!)
Advertised as the most powerful martial arts in the world; join us and find out why!
No previous experience required - we accomodate absolutely anyone and everyone who has an interest in the sport!
Training takes place on Mondays 7-9pm and Wednesday 7-9pm at the GCU Arc (Small Sports Hall)
