Are you motivated, approachable, interested and willing to engage with new students at events and workshops? We're looking for students to apply for our Freshers' Team Volunteers 2019.

What's involved?


Freshers Team Volunteers will be involved in 3 different groups to help new students to GCU feel part of our community. This volunteering opportunity is for a minimum of 8-12 hours, shifts will be from 2 hours to 6 hours per day.

You'll receive training to make sure you know what to do and you will be allocated different tasks over the week to make it fun.

If you’ve been a Freshers Team volunteer before or have lots of experience volunteering and want to gain experience in leading volunteers then please apply to be a Team Leader for one of the groups.

When do you need to be available?


You must be available for the following times and dates:

Training: Monday 9th Sept 2019

Volunteering: Friday 13th until Friday 20th Sept 2019


NB: All of the above details are subject to change as the events programme develops but we intend to offer the best possible experience and benefits to our Freshers Team for 2019.
