Wellbeing for Student Leaders

GCU Students' Association and the GCU Wellbeing Team are working in partnership to deliver wellbeing skills for student leaders workshops. The sessions are for students who are looking to learn more about supporting others and gives students the skills, knowledge, and confidence to support friends, whilst looking after your own mental health too, and more information about what support is available for GCU students: all within the boundaries and context of various student leader roles such as a class representative or a society volunteer.

This session will cover:

  • How to spot warning signs
  • Practical tips to support
  • How to signpost to the right services
  • Setting your own boundaries

This workshop was developed by Student Minds and will take place on Teams. After you have booked your free ticket, you will be contacted nearer the time with the Teams link to join the session.
