Right There Intandem Mentoring Group are hosting a Match attack event in the Re:Union Bar on Wednesday the 9th of November.

Right There aim to make a positive impact on the communities in which we operate by striving to be the leading provider of excellent services. However our overall aim is to support positive change in the lives of vulnerable people across Scotland. Right there are looking for Volunteer Mentors; the intandem programme aims to match care experienced children ages 8-14 with a volunteer mentor. This person is a positive role model for young people and helps the young person by walking alongside them and being part of positive change in this young persons life. We deliver the programme to young people living in Glasgow and North Lanarkshire. 

This event is a fun student mixer through which you will meet and chat to other students and work togehter to perform the tasks. The activity focusses on the matching process between the mentors and children, whilst also covering how to deal with issues you may have to as a mentor. 

Come along if you want to meet other students, have fun doing some activities or to ask the charity about becoming a mentor!!
