Come along to our online discussion events to speak to likeminded fellow students about current issues. We have selected two interesting topics to discuss and have guest speakers to help facilitate discussion.
10:00-11:00 – Islamophobia Discussion hosted by CISA (Caledonian Islamic Society) with a guest speaker, Linsay Taylor from MEND (Muslim Engagement and Development) Scotland.
11:00-12:00 – COP26 Discussion with a guest speaker, Miguel Gonzalez who is a Programme Officer at the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change). He is the leader of the Climate Neutral Now initiative team and formerly worked with the United Nations Development Programme as well as United Nations Environment Programme.
