This event has expired or is no longer available.
POSTPONED UNTIL TRIMESTER 2
Are your boots made for walking?
On the 3rd of December at 10am, the Allister Boyd Legacy group will be starting a 24 Hour Walkathon to fundraise for CLIC Sargent.
Over the 24 hours, the 6 teams each consisting of 8 people will relay on and off their team treadmill in the ARC through the day and night until 10am on the 4th December.
Teams will be able to sign up (£4 per person) to book their place, get an event T-shirt and receive crates of Redbull to help keep you going!
£1 will be payable on the day to join the Allister Boyd Legacy Group to cover insurance for the event.
Teams will be able to win prizes by either, covering the most Kilometres over the 24 hours or by fundraising the most money through sponsorship and collections on the day.
You can sign up to a team via the doodle poll (sent out after payment) and organise a rota for the 24 hours. You are not obligated to stay for the entire 24 hours however it will be encouraged that during the day you can help your team through bucket collections on campus and also keeping enthusiasm high through the night!
(For security reasons only the participants of the event will be permitted entry to the ARC when the building is closed.)
