Following a two day external auditing process on the 18th and 19th April 2017 conducted by Greenhouse Consultancy, on behalf of NUS, we have been awarded the second highest level of Very Good award within the Quality Students' Union accreditation. Quality Students’ Unions assures the quality, standards and overall effectiveness of students’ associations and unions within the UK.
We are the first modern university in Scotland and only the second university in Scotland to achieve this accreditation and there are only a handful of students’ associations/unions around the UK to have achieved this level of accreditation.
Following completing the audit process the external auditors provided this comment:
Lauren Ramage, Student President 2016/17, said “I am absolutely delighted that the Students’ Association has achieved the Quality Students’ Unions accreditation and moved from the Good award to the Very Good award.
