This idea is to create an open discussion about the environmental impact animal products sold from the canteen.  What steps can be taken to promote a plant-based diet within the canteen.

Hey Rory. While I think it's a great idea to try and reduce your environmental impact, I think more clarification on your point would be helpful. For instance, do you mean completely remove meat from the canteen menu, or simply make more meat alternatives available, for example Quorn. Or do you mean making plant-based foods cheaper in the canteen. This is a great idea, but I think that people are misreading it as you trying to force them to give up meat in favour of plant-based protein, which I think is what's making people dislike your post. I know that's how I read the first time round. In summary, I think just clarify your point better - it comes across as a bit totalitarian at first glance. I'm not going to upvote this yet, as I'm not 100% sure what you actually want.
