Identifying differences in the classical psychedelics

For our next official meeting, we will discuss psychedelic categorization and how the substances differ in effect. We will focus on the “classical psychedelics” (Psilocybin; lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD); N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT); and Mescaline). What makes a psychedelic a psychedelic? What do they do differently? What makes one more suitable for some therapy than others? If you are interested, send us an email at psychedelicmed@caledonian.ac.uk to get some resources before the event. These are not mandatory, just come with an open mind and interest.

Hope to see you there :)
