Have you ever had a good idea for a service, but been unsure how to enact it? How do we gain funding? How do we get the right people on board?
Jeanette Allan is the Care Group Lead Occupational Therapist for mental health services in Clyde. Jeanette has been instrumental in setting up the award winning Renfrewshire Mental Health Arts and Film Festival; the Network Vocational Rehabilitation service for mental health (also award winning); and Paisley's Buddy Beat mental health drumming group (you guessed it - award winning!).
Jeanette has kindly offered to share her experience and know-how on "Bringing an Idea to Life" with students at GCU.
Although this is an Occupational Therapy (OT) Society event, the topic is not OT specific, and our friends in the nursing and Allied Health Professions are welcome to attend!
