SAVE THE DATE...

We are having our first Mature Student Event on Thursday the 7th December from 2.30pm until 8pm. This is an informal drop-in event for everyone to get to know one another and say hello, even if you can only pop in for five minutes, it would be lovely to see you. The event is on for 5 and a half hours as we understand that mature students and part-time students have different commitments to other students and that time is limited, therefore we hope that you drop in before or after class or work or other commitments.

What is a mature student? A mature student is someone who is 21 or over on their first day of university so we welcome all ages whether you are 21, 35. 48 or over 60! As mature students we make up over 40% of the student population in Scotland....thats a huge amount!

We look forward to seeing our part time students at the event, as we want you to have an inclusive, positive university experience the same as any full time student would have. Whether you are looking to make new friends, share experiences or purely for networking then please pop by and say hello at the Union Bar.
