CELTIC CUP 2018

The new and largest event of the optics society calendar. One mad weekend away at Nottingham from the 2nd to 4th of March. The three Celtic optics unis; Glasgow Caledonian, Cardiff and Ulster are descending on the city for 3 days of sports, socialising and seshing. The trip leaves Glasgow on Friday afternoon and returns back for the Sunday afternoon. Friday night we arrive in the evening and get ready and head straight out to a huge 6 room club with all the other unis for a themed night. Come Saturday morning and we are up bright and early for a full day of sports competing for the prestigious Celtic Cup in three disciplines. Football, netball and volleyball. If sports isn't your cup of tea don't worry these are not elite competitions and fun for everyone to join in. Saturday night we all glam up and get ready for a large joint dinner with all the unis followed by the much anticipated awards. Then a final massive send of night out on the Saturday night and a good long rest on Sunday morning before heading each three of the unis head back to their home countries
