Ever wondered what you really need in your pack to have a fun enjoyable, and most importantly safe day out on the hills?

What to wear to be able to quickly adapt to the ever changing Scottish weather, that never seems to stick to the forcast?

What group stuff is brought along as additional safety equiptment?

Just want to have a drink with other hillwalkers, mountaineers, climbers, and the committee?

This is the night for you!

We will have a fun and interactive evening in the Union on campus where we will answer all your questions about gearm clothes and the hills while enjoying drinks.

After the event in the union, we will see where the night takes us in the city centre.

Come along to the GCUMC's Second official social of the year!

 

A talk will be delivered by Sam Trombley about what is needed for a good day out in the mountains, this will also involve a little bit about planning, weather and general mountain safety.
