For this walk, we will be going farther from Glasgow than for any of the previous walks!

Our goal is the summit of a yet to be determined Munro, depending on the weather of the day.
For those of you who were at the walk up Dumgoyne and over the Campsies, this walk will be very similar in terms of distance (11-16km / 7-10 miles) and overall ascent (800-1100m / 2500 - 3500f). All the options we currently have in mind will have reasonably well maintained paths. The current weather forecast is not reliable yet, but it looks like it will get very cold over the next few days and then stay cold, so be prepared for temperatures well below freezing when you take wind-chill into account.

Because the sun sets at 4pm on the 19th, we are forced to have an early start. We put in 6am for now, but this might be pushed back slightly depending on which Munro we do. We will not leave before 6am.

As always, we will meet up at Caledonian Court.

We are renting vans for this one. Should you want to drive there yourself and are willing to take people with you please let us know, then we can increase the number of available spots or possibly rent fewer vans. Once all spots are sold out, we will make tickets for a wait list available.

After the walk (and obviously a quick trip home to shower and change!) we are planning to go to Buff club, who we are partnered with. Should you not already have received your Buff card, you will get it on the day.
